What I learned from Multimedia Production

This semester is almost done including my final blog post. Throughout this particular class I have learned many applications that I have never used before and I’m glad I learned it now! Photoshop is a application that can help you alter pictures or even videos that can enhance the experience of a particular photo or video. I have always wanted to learn how to use this app and this semester I was given the opportunity to finally learn it! I completed my first project (still image project) and I was very satisfied with my results. Unfortunately due to the Corona Virus class was canceled so I was unable to do a step by step in person learning demonstration of how to use Premiere pro but luckily I have a professor who took his time to put a video demonstation online on how to use the software and I was able to complete my projects. This semester was a odd one to say the least due to production classes transitioning online but I made the most of it and had a great experience.

WWE Wrestle mania match of the event!

WWE Wrestle mania recently passed and it was quite different than any years in the past. For starters this years event lasted two nights and had two movie like matches that the WWE has never aired in the past in wrestle mania. The WWE was able to accomplish this by having no fans in the performance area that they hosted the event in so viewers were only able to watch the event on T.V. The Undertaker vs Aj styles was the match of both nights this was one of the cinematic matches I was referring to earlier. The match it self was an interesting one with it being a boneyard match. This meant that the winner needs to burry their opponent in order to win. In the end the Undertaker came out victorious and the WWE made a legendary match for one to be watched forever in the WWE archives.

Catching up with task that need to be done!

This week, I will not talk about my weekly sports updates and news as the Corona Virus has eliminated a lot of the sports related topics. Throughout this week I have caught up cleaning the office inside my house. I have put this off for nearly a year and now since I have a lot of spare time I finally finished the office room and now it is cleaned and ready to use! Before the room was covered in boxes and extra stuff that I rarely used so I combined boxes and put up shelves to make the room more manageable to use. The room is now able to have enough room to put my computer desk and chair that I can do homework and do other work related things. I feel that the corona Virus has aloud a lot of people to caught up in a lot of things that they have put off for a while but I’m just ready to get back to work after the virus is contained!

Miami Dolphins Building for the future!

There has been big debate whether or not if the Miami Dolphins should trade up to grab Joe burrow from the Bengals in the years NFL draft? If the Miami Dolphins we’re able to grab the number one pick in this years draft what will it take to get the picks and is it even worth drafting a young quarterback as suppose to the Dolphins just drafting three first round starters instead. In my opinion the Dolphins should offer two frost round picks and one second round pick if that does not do it then the Dolphins should stay where they are at in the draft and draft players based on how high they have them in their draft boards. The Miami Dolphins future looks real bright with a great young coach and the culture he has built already in year one, many reporters have been very high on the Dolphins so far but only time will tell! 

WWE Still Fighting!

All major sports are postponed until further notice due to the corona virus. This has caused WWE to wrestle in empty arenas headed into Wrestlemania. The corona Virus has caused a lot of harm to many sports figures as well with superstars in the NBA to have the disease currently. WWE being the only company that is still operating at this time is senseless people the viewers are not really liking the idea of wrestlers doing live shows with the audience. The audience enhances the sport immensely. Without the fans WWE is performing acts and stunts that would appeal to the crowd while none is in attendance. This year Wrestlemania is scheduled to be into a two day event. This is due to viewers attention spans that may only last for a whole three to four hours per day. In my opinion WWE should reschedule this years Wrestlemania until further notice and continue building the storylines.

Lebron is making a case for MVP!

Lebron James is making the case for a late season MVP run. Throughout the season Lebron James has played his heart out leading the Los Angles Lakers to the number one seed in the Western Conference and as recently as this past weekend he took down the number one seed in the NBA (Milwaukee Bucks) and the Kwahi Leonard lead Los Angles Clippers on the road! His stock rose this past week from a plus 1,100 Vegas betting to now just a plus three hundred. If the Los Angles Lakers can capture the NBA title this season I cannot see a scenario were Giannis Antetokounmpo wins the MVP over Lebron. This season the league is wide open anyone one team can win it because there is no more “super teams” and both conferences are stacked with major duos. Lebron and Anthony Davis will have a tough post season but if they can get through it there will be no doubt that they are this years NBA champions. 

Nik Wallenda toughest challenge to date!

Nik Wallenda lives on his family legacy with another daring challenge. Throughout his whole life he would try to live his family legacy on by doing greater and greater stunts partially tight roping to up his grandfather the great Karl Wallenda who tragically pasted away tight roping in 1978 between two building ten stories high in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Nik Wallenda was not the only one in his family to tight rope his whole family had a role in their lives tight roping as if it was a family tradition. Nik Wallenda took his life work into the highest high this time tight roping above a active volcano in Nicaragua. He walks 1,800 feet without a harness with wind gust nearly fifteen miles per hour. If that does not sound crazy this will on the other side of the volcano he had all his loved ones watching and anxiously waiting as he makes it to the other side.

Zion VS Lebron!

This week in the world of the NBA Zion Williams will play his first game against Lebron James and the Los Angles Lakers in Staples Center. The media is hyping up this matchup due to the fact that Zion Williams is playing outstanding in his first few games this season he was unable to play the full season due to injury. Zion is getting compared to Lebron’s rookie season with both players stats being nearly identical. The only difference is Lebron averaged 17 points per game in his rookie season and so far Zion is averaging 22 points per game. Lebron did play his full rookie season while Zion is looking to getting his New Orleans Pelicans team into the playoffs with the eighth seed only trailing the Memphis Grizzlies currently. A fun fact is Lebron’s Lakers would play the eighth seed if they remain the number one seed so we could see a possible matchup for they ages in this years playoffs. 

Deontay wilder vs Tyson fury II fight

This week we dive into the mega fight! This fight will be crowned as the most hyped and anticipated matchups of all 2020. I am talking about the deontay wilder vs tyson fury II fight. With the first fight both fighters went to the end resulting in a draw but boy was it one entertaining fight to say the least. Tyson fury the linear champion stated that he will knock out wilder in the second round of this upcoming fight as he is prepared unlike any other matchup. Wilder on the other hand says that he like to play around with his opponents until he lands that one knock out punch that he has done throughout the years in previous boxing matches. Both fighters are undefeated with one draw both by each other so this fight should be one for the ages! In my opinion I believe wilder knocks out fury in middle of the eight round.

ALL STAR WEEKEND IS HERE!!

This week in the NBA, the All star game weekend has finally arrived and all All star caliber player will be showcasing their talents this weekend in Chicago. Their will be many events going on this entire weekend starting off with team “World” vs team “USA” where the younger talented players will be facing off against each other in a battle of the youngest players in this league. Following that matchup you will have the celebrity all star game to conclude the night. Saturday will be jammed packed with a lot of action starting with the all star skill challenge, along side the three point competition, and to conclude the evening a dunk challenge featuring serval superstars! Finally Sunday night will feature the battle of team LEBRON vs team Giannis both who were picked as captains to represent the Eastern and Western conferences. I personally feel team Lebron will dominate this matchup.

Patrick Mahomes next Greatest of all time?

This week I review one of the greatest comebacks with six minutes and thirty seconds remaining in Super Bowl LIV. Patrick Mahomes lead his team back as they were trailing by ten points in the fourth quarter to the San Francisco 49ers. Patrick Mahomes scored three consecutive touchdowns to lead his team to a Super Bowl win by a final score of 31 to 20. He now makes the case of being the next greatest of all time after last season winning the MVP award and now this season winning the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl MVP. He is now in line for gaining the NFL richest contract as he is eligible for an extension this post season. Mahomes states that he wants to remain a Kansas City Chiefs for the rest of his career and would not want to be anywhere else. The Chiefs may start a new dynasty with Mahomes new contract but only time will tell. 

Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday will feature two of the best NFL teams in the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Kansas City just knocked off the Titans at home and the 49ers just knocked off the Green Bay Packers at home as well. Both teams feature a high ranked offense but the difference is between the 49ers and Chiefs is the 49ers have a top five defense lead by Nick Bosa, and Richard Sherman. This Super Bowl should be a shootout with the Vegas betting odds expecting the game to go into the mid-fifties as a total score for both teams. Patrick Mahomes and Jimmy Garoppolo both starting quarterbacks for the chiefs and 49ers will be under pressure as this is their first Super Bowl as starting quarterbacks. In Miami, Fl this Sunday we should expect one of the best Super Bowl’s in recent date and a start of a Legendary run for one of these two quarterbacks entering the game     

McGregor VS Cowboy UFC 246

Last weekend the world got to witness the Connor McGregor vs Cowboy Cerrone UFC fight. The fight was hyped to its peak as McGregor made his UFC return into the octagon. The previous fight McGregor lost to Khabib and a fight happened after match where Khabib would jump into the crowd fighting McGregor trainers and family members. This set UFC back as they would have to suspend both fighters for roughly six months to a year. At UFC 246, McGregor took out Cowboy Cerrone easily under forty seconds. It turned out to be a bad match because Cowboy was unable to touch Connor resulting to a McGregor win and now he has his eyes set to his next potential match against Nate Diaz in a trilogy match where both fighters won each of the previous matches. I truly believe after McGregor takes on Nate Diaz he should call out Khabib again and regain his championships.     

Lakers Take care of the Cavaliers at home!

This week I witnessed LeBron James take down his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers with a total score of 128 to 99. Many celebrities were in attendance during the game including Kim Kardashian with her husband Kayne West. There is a funny story relating to Kim Kardashian attending this game because her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers and during the game Kim is heard cheering for the Lakers against her ex-boyfriend. In the end LeBron’s Lakers took down the cavaliers winning their thirty third game of the year which lead the Lakers to the Western Conference with the number one seed ahead of the second place Utah Jazz by five games. I truly hope the Lakers end the NBA regular season with the number one seed headed to the playoffs so they can have home court advantage during the NBA playoffs. It will be a tough task to make it to the NBA finals but if there is any team who can do it, it will be the Lakers!
